TYING DEMO- TERRESTRIALS
This demonstration features tying and discussing "how to fish" my favorite terrestrial patterns. Several of these flies were featured on the Virtual Fly Tying CD, Volume 2 Terrestrials & Attractor Patterns. Learn to tie the O'Brien's Deer Hair Ant, a simple, yet productive fly every angler should carry in his or her fly box. Tying an extended-body Cricket and Hopper will also be demonstrated. Come and learn many valuable techniques along with a few new patterns to add to your fly box for summer fishing.
KNOT TYING AND LEADER DEMO
In this demo I will show the easiest and strongest knots to help anglers land the big ones. Turle Knot, Trilene Knot, Double Surgeon's Knot (something a little different from what you might already know), Simple Blood Knot (no more struggling with this knot after you learn this method). A Non-Slip Mono Loop- super strong and gives flies and lures that little extra action to draw strikes. 10-Second Nail Knot- it really can be that quick and easy. Making loop connections to fish multiple flies, attach tippets, add weight to your leader. As a bonus, I will teach you the proper way to sharpen hooks.
